The first website I decided to explore
Communication Arts a little bit more than I usually do and found this picture by Christopher Wilson. There's such a variety of design on the site, but this one caught my eye because of the contrast between black and pink. The texture of what looks like a plant in the subject's arms, and the way she's painted looks like she's wearing a leather shirt. I love how different this is.

I found
Grain Edit while researching Graphic designs. I saw this one artist,
Hannah K. Lee, that hand draws each letter to give it a personal touch rather than manipulating an existing text. She is so detailed in her letters that, like this image above, first looks like a drawn image but when looking at it closer it actually says "Express Yourself". I find that really cool.

After taking
Typography last semester, I became very interested in how you can use simple words and letters to make interesting and beautiful designs. I love also how each typographic design conveys some sort of message behind it that isn't literal to the eye at first. I chose this image from the site because I love the colors of pink and black together with the smooth, ribbon-like lettering.

I remember Martine mentioning this
website in class earlier today and thought maybe to research it a little and see what they offered. Just looking at it briefly I saw how cool the designs were and how different. I like this image in particular because it reminded me of a flip book, which are so fun to make.

The last website I found is
Design in Europe. My sister recommended this to me when she was over in Germany. I found this website interesting to see what different media you can use to produce Graphic Design art. This picture in particular was made by by someone in Toulouse using motion. This is another link to his own personal website as well. http://www.emperador.fr/.
"Design in Europe" site is right up my alley. The design and animation is def what I am itching to learn.
